Taro Plast S.p.A.

Taro Plast S.p.A. signed an agreement to acquire the thermoplastic Co-Polyester and Polyester Hotmelt businesses of Celanese Corporation. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2022.

To satisfy European Commission concerns, Celanese offered to sell its thermoplastic copolyester business and a plant in Ferrara, Italy, to Taro Plast, as part of its $11 billion acquisition of DuPont's engineering polymer unit.
