Reichhold and Polynt Group have completed a merger to form a new specialty chemicals company, Polynt-Reichhold, focusing on coatings, composite resins, and intermediates with over EUR 2 billion in revenue.

Polynt and Reichhold have completed their merger, forming Polynt-Reichhold, a company with over EUR 2 billion in revenue and 44 plants worldwide, producing unsaturated polyester resins and other products.

The European Commission approved the merger between Reichhold and Polynt, conditional on the divestment of Reichhold's Etain plant in France to Ashland. Both produce unsaturated polyester resins.
