Tata Metaliks

The Board of Directors of Tata Steel Limited approved the amalgamation of six majority-owned subsidiaries and TRF Limited into Tata Steel Limited, including Tata Steel Long Products, The Tinplate Company of India, Tata Metaliks, The Indian Steel & Wire Products, Tata Steel Mining, S & T Mining Company, and TRF Limited.

Tata Metaliks, a subsidiary of Tata Steel, has commenced a $76 million expansion project to double its ductile pipe capacity to 400,000 metric tons per year at its Kharagpur plant in West Bengal, India. The expansion will be done in two phases.
