Novelis, a Hindalco subsidiary, is building a 600 KT greenfield aluminium rolling and recycling plant at Bay Minette, Alabama, now expected to cost around $5 billion. About two-thirds of output is to serve North American beverage packaging, under long-term customer contracts.
Novelis, a subsidiary of Hindalco, said in its quarterly earnings release that its $4.1 billion greenfield rolling and recycling plant in Bay Minette, Alabama is progressing, with equipment being installed and operations expected in the second half of calendar 2026.
