Irta Group Packaging

Xact, a UK fresh produce coding and packaging systems specialist, invested in multiformat packaging machines from Spanish company IRTA Group Packaging. The partnership brings two new Vertical Form Fill sealing machines to the UK for the first time, targeting nuts, dried fruit, snacks, and frozen food markets.

UK packaging specialist Xact partnered with Spanish IRTA Group Packaging to introduce two new vertical form fill sealing machines (VFFS) to the UK market: the IRTA VX STB DOY and IRTA TR.

Xact invested in multiformat packaging machines supplied by IRTA Group Packaging, including the IRTA VX STB DOY and IRTA TR VFFS machines, to expand into new UK markets.

Coalza Systems has acquired Irta Group Packaging, a packaging machinery manufacturer based in Almassora, Spain. Irta will continue to operate as an independent brand. The deal value was not disclosed.
