Plaschem Group signed a contract with Germany's Brueckner Group for a second BOPP film production line, expected to arrive in Vietnam in late 2024, which will increase the factory's capacity to 90,000-100,000 tonnes per year by early 2025.

Plaschem Group's $50 million BOPP Film Factory at Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster in Long An province, Vietnam, came on stream in mid-June 2022 with an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes. The first products were shipped on July 1, and the first export to Europe occurred on July 15.
