Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical JSC

LyondellBasell won contracts to license its Spherizone technology for a 500,000 t/y polypropylene plant at the CNOOC/Shell joint venture in Huizhou, China, and a 600,000 t/y PP plant for Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical in Quang Ninh, Vietnam. Contract values were not disclosed.

Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical Plant announced it has selected technology licenses from Honeywell UOP and Basell Poliolefine Italia for its polypropylene production project in Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam.

Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical JSC plans to invest $1.5 billion in a polypropylene plant in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam. The plant will produce 600,000 tonnes of polypropylene annually, with commercial operations starting in Q4 2026.
