Swiss medical device company Medmix will invest at least $20 million to outfit a leased 300,000-square-foot facility in Flowery Branch, Georgia, creating 200 jobs over five to seven years. The site will support healthcare business including drug delivery, surgery, and dental units.

Medmix, a Swiss manufacturer of medical devices and industrial products, is opening a $20 million plant in Oakwood, Georgia.

Medmix has acquired a majority stake in Guangdong Qiaoyi Plastic Co, a beauty manufacturing business in Shantou, China. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2023, with current owners retaining a minority stake.

medmix has signed a long-term lease agreement for a new facility near Atlanta, Georgia, USA, to support its Healthcare business area, including Drug Delivery, Dental, and Surgery segments.

medmix has signed an agreement to acquire the entire plastics business of Universal de Suministros in Valencia, Spain, to develop it into a production hub for its Industry segment. medmix expects to invest up to CHF 10 million and create around 180 jobs.
