Capital Power and Manulife Investment Management completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in MCV Holding Company, which owns the 1,633-MW Midland Cogeneration Venture in Michigan, for US$894 million, including assumption of US$521 million in debt. The joint venture partners each contributed approximately US$186 million.

Capital Power Corporation and Manulife Investment Management announced the acquisition of 100% of MCV Holding Company, which owns the 1,633 MW Midland Cogeneration Venture in Michigan, from OMERS for US$894 million including debt assumption. The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2022.
