DongShin Motech

DongShin Motech signed a letter of intent to invest $60 million (expandable to $90 million) in a 170,000 sq ft battery casing factory in Windsor, Ontario, creating 300 jobs. The plant will supply LG Energy Solutions and Stellantis.

DongShin Motech will build its first North American plant in Windsor, Ontario, to supply the Stellantis/LG Energy Solution battery plant. The 170,000-square-foot facility will cost $90 million and employ about 300 people.
