Coca-Cola's bottler COFCO Coca-Cola Beverages set up a new fully automated production line at its Chengdu, Sichuan facility capable of 120,000 cans per hour, which it says is the fastest such plant in the world.
COFCO Coca-Cola Beverages signed an agreement with Guian New Area on March 27, 2020 to build a beverage factory with two soft drink production lines and a 270 million yuan investment. Completion is expected by end of 2021.
