NSIG

Okmetic will build a new production facility next to its current fab in Vantaa, Finland, with an investment of nearly €400 million. The fab will more than double production capacity and create over 500 jobs. Construction will start in early 2023 and production is planned for 2025.

Okmetic Oy, a subsidiary of NSIG (Shanghai Silicon Industry), will invest approximately €388 million to expand 200mm semiconductor silicon wafer production in Vantaa, Finland. The project will add 3.132 million wafers per year of capacity.
