Andel Limited, a Barnsley-based manufacturer of flood defence and water-saving technologies, has secured a £200,000 investment from UKSE to fit out a new unit, tripling manufacturing and warehouse capacity and doubling R&D facilities. The expansion will create about 50 new jobs.

Seas-NVE Strømmen, the electricity trading arm of energy group Andel, has acquired Enova Energy, a small heat pump company based in Copenhagen. The acquisition aims to capture a third of the Danish heat pump market by 2030.
