Byggelement

Peab's subsidiary Byggelement is investing SEK 450 million to extend its plants in Ucklum and Hallstahammar, Sweden, doubling production capacity of concrete elements. The investment includes automation through robotization and will enable production with at least 50% alternative binder.

Byggelement has been selected as material supplier for Skanska's Tora block project in northwestern Stockholm, delivering ECO-Prefab walls, slabs, and balconies. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
