PetroVietnam Power

PetroVietnam Power (PV Power) is developing the Nhon Trach 3 and 4 combined-cycle power plants in Dong Nai province, Vietnam. The $1.4bn project will have a capacity of 1.5GW and use GE 9HA.02 gas turbines, with operations expected by 2025.

GE secured an order from Samsung C&T Corporation to provide power generation equipment for the Nhon Trach 3&4 LNG power plant in Vietnam. The plant is expected to deliver over 1.6 GW and begin commercial operation in 2025.

GE secured an order from Samsung C&T Corporation to provide two GE 9HA.02 gas turbines for PetroVietnam Power Corporation's Nhon Trach 3&4 combined cycle power plant in Vietnam, the first HA-powered and LNG-fueled plant in the country, expected to deliver 1.6 GW by 2025.

Samsung C&T and Lilama won an EPC contract worth VND 24.14 trillion ($1.04 billion) from PetroVietnam Power for the 1.5 GW Nhon Trach 3&4 LNG power plant in Dong Nai, Vietnam. Commissioning is expected in 2023-2024.
