Sideralba

Sideralba, a steel tube manufacturer, acquired a 51% controlling stake in Sidergalbiati Spa, a NewCo formed from Galbiati Spa and Metalnastro Srl. The transaction involved a capital increase of EUR 1.5 million and aims to inject capital into plants in Sirone, Montichiari, and Gorla Minore.

Marcegaglia Carbon Steel and Sideralba have formed an equal joint venture, SM Tunis Acier S.A., in Tunisia. With an initial investment of €10 million, the company aims to double production from 200,000 to 400,000 metric tons by 2023.
