Fuji Electric Tsugaru Semiconductor

Fuji Electric commenced mass production of 6-inch silicon carbide power semiconductors at its facility in Aomori Prefecture, Japan, as of December 2024.

Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. decided to invest in Fuji Electric Tsugaru Semiconductor Co., Ltd. in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture, to increase production of SiC power semiconductors. Mass production is planned to begin in fiscal 2024. The company's total power semiconductor investments are expected to expand to 190 billion yen.
