HMD is making a second round of investment of INR 100 crore (approx. USD 13 million) in 2021-22 to ramp up syringe capacity, aiming to reach 1.5 billion AD syringes per year by March 2022.

HMD is setting up a new 150,000 sq ft greenfield factory in Faridabad, India, to increase cannula capacity from 4 billion to 6 billion per annum. The factory is to be commissioned by January 2022.
