Menzies Distribution secured a multi-year extension of its distribution contract with aluminium packaging maker Ball Beverage Packaging UK, including 30 new longer semi-trailers over the next 12 months.
Ball Beverage Packaging will install a new can factory in Cabanillas del Campo, Guadalajara, with an initial investment above EUR 100 million and more than 110 direct jobs. The plant will make about 1.2 billion aluminum cans a year, with a second line planned later.
