Infineon Technologies completed its acquisition of GaN Systems, a developer of Gallium Nitride power conversion solutions, for $830 million. The deal, announced in March 2023, has received all regulatory approvals and GaN Systems is now integrated into Infineon.

GaN Systems and BMW Group entered a comprehensive Capacity Agreement for GaN Systems to supply BMW with high-performance, automotive-grade GaN power transistors for electric vehicle applications. The agreement is valued in the hundreds of millions of US dollars.
