Beacon EmbeddedWorks, a discoverIE Group company, acquired Diamond Technologies Inc., a provider of customized data collection, automation, and industrial communications solutions. Diamond Technologies will continue operating under its own brand from Hudson, Massachusetts.

DiscoverIE Group plc announced the opening of a new 9,000m² manufacturing facility in Jigani, Bangalore, India. The facility more than doubles the footprint of its existing Bangalore operation and provides three times the capacity, serving the Noratel business which manufactures power transformers and magnetic components.

H2 Equity Partners has acquired Acal BFi from DiscoverIE Group plc for £50 million, with mezzanine debt financing from Westbrooke Alternative Asset Management. Westbrooke also takes a minority equity stake.

H2 Equity, a private equity firm, agreed to acquire Acal BFi, a manufacturer and distributor of electronic components, from discoverIE for $67 million.

Beacon EmbeddedWorks, a provider of System on Modules and embedded solutions, has been wholly acquired by discoverIE Group plc, an international group that designs and manufactures components for electronics applications.
