GELPAC

ProAmpac signed a definitive agreement on March 13, 2024 to acquire Gelpac, a producer of multiwall paper and poly-woven packaging with six facilities in the US and Canada, from an investor group led by NAMAKOR Holdings.

Gelpac, a Canadian packaging manufacturer, announced the acquisition of Standard Multiwall Bag Mfg. Co., a maker of industrial and food-grade multiwall bags with plants in Beaverton, Oregon and Lubbock, Texas. The deal was financed by CDPQ, W Investments and a bank syndicate led by National Bank of Canada.

Canadian packaging firm GELPAC acquired WBC Extrusion Products of Haverhill, Massachusetts, a maker of single-use blown polymer films, as announced by advisor Woodbridge International. The deal strengthens GELPAC's North American position.
