Prometeon

Prometeon announced an investment of R$60 million in its factory in Santo André, Brazil. The funds will be used for a new testing center (R$6.5 million) and to expand production capacity of Agro line tires by about 20% annually (R$55 million).

Prometeon announced a 30% increase in agricultural tire production at its Gravataí plant in Brazil, adding 40 jobs. Combined with a previous expansion in June 2021, the company expects an additional 310,000 tires in 2022-2023, surpassing 1 million tires per year from 2022.

Prometeon (formerly Pirelli Industrial) will invest $1 million to build a new indoor test center (Test Center Latam) at its tire factory in Santo André, São Paulo, Brazil. The facility will create 14 jobs, with 4 initially.
