MHI Vestas signed a firm order to supply 100 V164-9.5 MW turbines for the 950 MW Moray East offshore wind farm in Scotland's Moray Firth, including a 15-year service agreement. The order followed financial close on December 6, 2018.
MHI Vestas Offshore Wind was selected as preferred turbine supplier for the 860MW Triton Knoll project off the Lincolnshire coast, UK, to be developed by a 50/50 joint venture of innogy and Statkraft. It is expected to supply 90 of its 9.5MW turbines, and a plan to safeguard or create 800 UK jobs was agreed.
MHI Vestas Offshore Wind won a deal to supply 90 V164-9.5 MW turbines for Triton Knoll's circa 860MW offshore wind farm off the UK east coast. The announcement was made on 18 September 2017.
Norther N.V. took final investment decision on the 370 MW Norther offshore wind project and awarded MHI Vestas Offshore Wind a firm contract to supply 44 V164-8.4 MW turbines. The project is about 23 km off Zeebrugge and is due to be commissioned in 2019.
