Marchesini Group will officially open its new €10 million 'Neri' plant at Barberino di Mugello (Florence) on October 18, 2025, covering 4,300 square meters and expanding its La Lora industrial area to 11,500 square meters.
Italy's Marchesini Group has acquired M.A.R. S.p.A., a Milan-based maker of pharmaceutical packaging machines for liquids, powders and syringes. M.A.R. will keep its Lainate site and staff and expand by hiring technicians and designers.
The Marchesini Group invested €7 million to double the size of CORIMA's aseptic packaging machinery plant in Pianoro, Italy, adding 6,000 square meters. The 30 new technician and engineer jobs were announced with the factory's official opening.
