SUSTIO Sdn. Bhd, a subsidiary of SIMMTECH, will invest $50 million to expand its production line in Penang, doubling HDI PCB capacity and creating 400 jobs. Completion expected by Q1 2023.

SIMMTECH held the grand opening of its new factory for SUSTIO Sdn. Bhd. in Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Penang, Malaysia. The facility is SIMMTECH's first in Southeast Asia and will increase total substrate and PCB capacity by 20%.

Simmtech is constructing its first large-scale factory in Southeast Asia at Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Penang, with a total investment of RM508 million. The facility will manufacture packaging substrates and HDI PCBs, with operations expected to commence in Q2 2022.
