HRS Heat Exchangers

HRS Heat Exchangers supplied a corrugated tube heat exchanger for the upgrade of the Prince of Wales Bay Sewage Treatment Plant in Hobart, Tasmania. The upgrade, undertaken by TasWater and Aquatec Maxcon, will ensure operational suitability until 2060.

Canadian-based Exchanger Industries acquired HRS Heat Exchangers, a supplier of heat exchangers and custom process systems for environmental, food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. The two companies will continue to operate separately.

HRS Heat Exchangers has been awarded an order for the design, manufacture and installation of a Mechanical Vapor Recompression Evaporation System for the Life Desirows consortium, an EU-funded research project in Murcia, Spain.

Exchanger Industries Limited acquired HRS Heat Exchangers Ltd., an international specialist supplier of heat exchangers and custom process systems. Financial terms were not disclosed.
