Maxim Power Corp.

Maxim Power Corp. entered into a gas turbine and generator reservation agreement with GE Vernova to hold a manufacturing slot for a 7HA.02 gas turbine for its 400 MW Prairie Lights Power project near Grande Prairie, Alberta. The target delivery is by 2030, and total project spending in 2026 is anticipated to be up to $60 million.

Maxim Power Corp. announced it is proceeding with the expansion of its M2 facility into a combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plant, increasing capacity from 204 MW to approximately 300 MW. The project cost is estimated at $125 million, and commercial operations are expected in December 2022.
