AtkinsRéalis, along with partners Jacobs Technology Inc. and Longenecker and Associates, was awarded a $50 million IDIQ contract by the U.S. Department of Energy's Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory for multidiscipline engineering support services for fusion energy projects.

A consortium led by AtkinsRéalis (Candu Energy Inc.) and the Canadian Commercial Corporation received an award letter from Nuclearelectrica S.A. to provide engineering, technology and procurement for the life extension of Unit 1 at the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant in Romania. The contract is valued at approximately $750 million.
