Chemigate Oy

Chemigate has begun construction on a new production plant for polysaccharide processing in Lapua, Finland. The investment is worth about €6-7 million and will expand the wet modification plant by approximately 50%.

Berner Ltd has acquired a majority stake in Chemigate Oy, a company selling modified starches for technical applications. Chemigate will continue as an independent subsidiary with the same management. The transaction requires approval from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.
