Silverstream Technologies will supply air lubrication systems for nine RoPax newbuildings contracted by Grimaldi Group at China Merchants Industry Weihai Shipyard. It is the largest RoPax order awarded to Silverstream.
Silverstream Technologies signed a memorandum of understanding with Hudong-Zhonghua, a CSSC subsidiary, to integrate its air lubrication system into future LNG carrier designs, cutting fuel costs and emissions by 6% to 8%.
