NIBCO has announced its acquisition of Milwaukee Valve, a producer of valves for commercial, industrial and marine markets, which will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary with no operational changes.
NIBCO agreed to acquire the entire Milwaukee Valve Company, including its products, facilities and assets, with the deal expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2019 pending regulatory approvals. Terms are confidential.
Milwaukee Valve in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin rebuilt two air compressors and bought two new ones with variable frequency drives, supported by a Focus on Energy incentive of nearly $62,000. The upgrades are expected to save $27,000 a year in energy costs.
