IFM Investors and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board jointly acquired a 100% interest in the Canadian district energy operations of Enwave Energy Corporation from Brookfield Infrastructure for C$2.8 billion enterprise value. Each will own 50%.

Ares Management's Private Equity Group funds and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board have agreed to acquire a majority interest in packaging distributor TricorBraun from AEA Investors, with management retaining a stake. The deal was announced January 7, 2021.
