LATI Industria Termoplastici SpA

LATI Industria Termoplastici SPA, an Italian manufacturer of engineering plastics compounds, has acquired a majority stake in a joint venture formed via the transfer of Loxim Industries Limited's engineered compound business. The deal value was not disclosed.

Lati Industria Termoplastici S.p.A. acquired the engineering plastic compounds division of Loxim Industries Limited through a joint venture company (Lati-Loxim Thermoplastics Private Limited, 51% LATI, 49% Loxim promoters) via a slump sale. The transaction was signed on March 30, 2025 and closed on June 12, 2025.

Star Plastics Inc. has partnered with Italy-based LATI Industria Termoplastici SpA to expand product offerings in North America, Europe and Asia. Under the agreement, LATI specialty plastic compounds will be available through Star Plastics in the U.S. and Canada.
