Valbruna ASW Inc. receives $5M FedDev Ontario support for expansion in Welland
Valbruna ASW Inc., Canada's only specialty steel producer, received a FedDev Ontario repayable contribution of up to $5 million to support its expansion in Welland, Ontario. The project will leverage over $24 million in private investment, maintain over 110 jobs and create 15 new ones, and enable the company to produce stainless steel and nickel alloy.

Tenova awarded contract to supply EAF to Valbruna ASW in Canada
Italy-based Tenova was awarded a contract by Valbruna ASW Inc. to supply a new electric arc furnace (EAF) for its specialty steel facility in Welland, Ontario. The EAF will replace the existing one and includes auxiliary equipment, material handling systems, and automation.
