Starpower Semiconductor

Starpower Semiconductor plans to invest 2.29 billion yuan (approx. $354 million) to build a full silicon carbide power module production line and R&D center at its existing plant in Jiaxing, China. The project will produce over 80,000 automotive-grade SiC power modules per year over a two-year construction period.

Starpower Semiconductor will invest CNY 229 million ($35.1 million) to build a production line for automotive silicon carbide power modules at its existing plant in Jiaxing, China. The line is expected to start operation within 24 months.
