John Swire & Sons Limited

Alba Asia Plastics Recycling, part of Germany's Alba Group, and UK-based John Swire & Sons plan to form a new joint venture in Asia for plastics recycling. The companies notified the European Commission in late August.

John Swire & Sons Limited completed the purchase of all of WesTech Engineering's common stock, following shareholder approval and regulatory conditions. The deal is expected to enable WesTech to diversify and accelerate its strategic development.

WesTech Engineering, Inc., an employee-owned water treatment solutions provider, has signed a Membership Interest Purchase Agreement to be acquired by JS&S (Water Holdings) Inc., a subsidiary of John Swire & Sons Limited (Swire). Terms are confidential and subject to shareholder approval.
