Alba Asia Plastics Recycling, part of Germany's Alba Group, and UK-based John Swire & Sons plan to form a new joint venture in Asia for plastics recycling. The companies notified the European Commission in late August.

AMA Structural Mechanical Division was awarded a contract by Bechtel to supply 427 potshells for the Alba Line 6 Aluminum Smelter Project in Bahrain. The project involves approximately 20,000 MT of high-grade steel, with delivery starting mid-2017 and completion by mid-2018.
