Stonepeak agreed to acquire an approximately 50% co-controlling stake in IFCO Group, a reusable plastic container provider, from a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Triton remains a partner with equal governance. The announcement is dated 9 July 2025.
Triton and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority completed the acquisition of reusable packaging provider IFCO Systems on May 31, 2019, at an enterprise value of US$2.51 billion, ending Brambles' ownership.
