Triton and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority completed the acquisition of reusable packaging provider IFCO Systems on May 31, 2019, at an enterprise value of US$2.51 billion, ending Brambles' ownership.
Funds advised by Triton and a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority agreed to acquire 100% of IFCO, the reusable plastic container provider, from Brambles Limited in equal shares. Regulatory approvals are pending.
