Resideo, part of Maxon and Honeywell, opened its second gas controller manufacturing plant in Tijuana, Baja California, with a $6 million investment. The plant will produce an estimated 13 million units annually and create 2,600 direct jobs.

Resideo Kft., a US-owned manufacturer of measuring instruments, is investing HUF 447 million to expand capacity at its Nagykanizsa plant in Hungary. The project will protect 440 jobs and includes automation upgrades and a new solar park; the government is providing HUF 224 million in non-refundable support.
