Ircon International awarded Siemens Limited a contract to supply Gas Insulated Switchgear for the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor. The work includes design, supply, installation and commissioning, to be completed in 420 days.

IRCON International Limited emerged as the lowest bidder for two lots of the electrification work contract (Package 19) for the 82.15 km Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor, with a total bid value of approximately Rs 723 crore. The scope includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 25kV AC overhead electrical equipment and associated works.
