Waiward Industrial

Waiward Industrial was awarded a contract in January 2023 to fabricate a 367 MT cooler ring for the Cleveland-Cliffs Burns Harbor steel facility in Indiana. The project was completed in August 2023, involving steel supply, fabrication, machining, and trial assembly.

Waiward Industrial LP is adding a second paint and coating facility in Nisku, Alberta, with 30,360 sq. ft. of capacity, a 7,931 sq. ft. blast tent, and 2+ acres for module and frame assembly. The facility will be operational by the end of March 2021.

Gitga'at Waiward Industrial, a joint venture between Gitga'at First Nation and Waiward Industrial, has been awarded a contract by JGC Fluor to supply stick built structural steel for the LNG Canada Project in Kitimat, British Columbia. Deliveries are expected from early 2021 through December 2022.
