Alpha Solway

Alpha Solway has secured £4.8 million funding from South of Scotland Enterprise to build a new state-of-the-art factory in Heathhall, Dumfries, and expand its current facility in Annan. The new factory will create around 300 sustainable new jobs and is expected to be operational in summer 2021.

Alpha Solway has landed a £53 million deal to supply personal protective equipment to NHS Scotland, including 232 million surgical masks, six million respirator masks and two million visors. The company plans to nearly quadruple its workforce to 200 new jobs to fulfill the contract.
