Turkish polyester producer Sasa and US-based Koch Industries signed an agreement to build a $935 million purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant in Adana, Turkey. The plant will have an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons and create 400 jobs, with completion expected in 2022.
