ApiJect Systems America, Inc.

The Ritedose Corp. has been selected as a subcontractor to ApiJect for the production of single-dose prefilled syringes to administer COVID-19 vaccines. The work involves repurposing and upgrading equipment to provide capacity to fill and finish up to 45 million prefilled syringes per month, and will involve a significant expansion of Ritedose's Columbia facility.

ApiJect Systems America was awarded a $138 million HHS-DOD Title 3 Defense Production Act contract to accelerate building U.S.-based capacity for prefilled syringes, including Project Jumpstart to supply 100 million syringes by end of 2020 and over 500 million in 2021.
