Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited

PolyOne Corp. has completed the acquisition of Clariant's color masterbatches business (including Clariant Chemicals India) for a net purchase price of $1.44 billion, and simultaneously renamed the company to Avient.

PolyOne Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to purchase Clariant's global color and additive masterbatch business for a net purchase price of $1.45 billion. The acquisition includes 46 manufacturing operations and technology centers in 29 countries and approximately 3,600 employees.

PolyOne Polymers India Private Limited signed an agreement to acquire the masterbatch business from Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited for INR 4.3 billion. The consideration will be paid in cash.
