IDE and VA Tech Wabag have won a $83 million, 15-year design-build-operate contract with the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board for a 45,000 m³/d reverse osmosis plant in Koyambedu, India. The plant will treat wastewater for reuse at an industrial hub.

WABAG has successfully executed a 45 MLD Tertiary Treatment Reverse Osmosis (TTRO) plant for Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board in Koyambedu, Chennai. The project worth INR 482.21 crores was awarded to a consortium of WABAG and IDE, with WABAG also responsible for 15 years of operation and maintenance.

VA Tech Wabag has executed a Tertiary Treatment Reverse Osmosis (TTRO) plant for the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) in Koyambedu, Chennai. The Rs 482.21 crore project was awarded by CMWSSB, and Wabag will also operate and maintain the facility for 15 years.
