Aluminium Konin

Gränges completed the acquisition of Polish flat-rolled aluminium producer Aluminium Konin from Boryszew S.A. for SEK 2.2 billion (PLN 938 million) on a cash and debt-free basis.

Gränges AB signed an agreement to acquire Polish flat-rolled aluminium producer Aluminium Konin from Boryszew Group for SEK 2.3 billion on a cash and debt-free basis. The acquisition adds a rolling mill in Konin, Poland with annual capacity of 100 ktonnes, and Gränges will complete a SEK 1.1 billion expansion to increase capacity to 140 ktonnes.
