Ceyhan Polipropilen Uretim A.Ş, a joint venture between Rönesans Holding and Sonatrach S.p.A., has selected LyondellBasell's Spheripol technology for a 450 KTA polypropylene unit to be constructed in Ceyhan, Turkey.

Honeywell UOP will supply its Oleflex propylene technology to Ceyhan Polipropilen Uretim for a PDH/PP complex in Turkey, and to Zibo Qixiang Tengda Chemical for a propylene expansion in China.

Ceyhan Polipropilen Uretim AS, a joint venture of Ronesans Holding and Sonatrach, has awarded a contract to Honeywell UOP to license its C3 Oleflex technology for a propane dehydrogenation unit at a grassroots petrochemical complex in Ceyhan, Turkey. Honeywell announced that Ceyhan Polipropilen Uretim A.S., a joint venture of Ronesans Holding and Sonatrach, will use Honeywell UOP's C3 Oleflex technology to produce 457,000 tpy of polymer-grade propylene for a new petrochemicals complex in Ceyhan, Turkey. This will be Turkey's first PDH unit.
